The American director Ava DuVernay gives her support to this exhibition curated by Khalil Akar (it has a sister exhibition in LA at the same time) aiming to connect African artists with the histories of the continent's diaspora in Europe and America. The London show features 13 artists, including Oluwole Omufemi with 9 paintings marking the minutes that George Floyd was held down, and Adjaratou Ouedraogo, who explores the Windrush scandal.
