What: The Signature African Art Gallery in Mayfair has announced Say My Name, curated by director Khalil Akhar and presented by the director of Selma and 13th, Ava DuVernay. The show will feature portrait paintings and sculptures seeking to connect African artists with the history of the diasporas in Europe and America by celebrating influential figures and moments in Black history. The exhibition, opening concurrently in LA in February 2021, will feature 13 African artists and honour the names of the Black lives which have been lost at the hands of the police.
